The Pirate

Pirate of the Caribbean

An original oil on canvas version of Endre's Pirate portrait once hung at Disney Corporate Headquarters, and in Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride in Orlando Florida there once existed a scene that bore a striking resemblence to the background of this painting. It appeared as though the triple arches leading to the ship was recreated with a good deal of attention to detail. I do not know if that particular scene still exists in the ride, as it has been many years since I was at Disney in Florida.
